Old stuff but still good

Tonight as I ponder how I have managed to be so productive after work, I remembered I wanted to blog about another article from The Age. It's old, but it's still relevant.

Occasionally I wonder what has happened to the passion I used to feel about politics - after all, I did do work experience for Judy Spence and wanted to be the federal treasurer - and this article sums up part of my disillusionment. Here's a quote:

"This is not to say that Howard is a bad person, just not the great leader that we need. I might be relaxed and comfortable, as Howard wants - but this is not the stuff that gets hearts racing, minds thinking and dreams satisfied . "
