So out of practice

Zachary has been sleeping really well of late. He generally sleeps between 10 and 7, with one feed overnight. However, for some reason on Saturday night he decided to mix things up, and would not go to sleep.

At 1150pm as Cameron and I stared at each other in despair, we realised just how out of practice we were for this sleeping pattern. Zachary used to do this all the time, and we had a good process for it. One of us would sleep while the other took the screaming child,until it was time for more food, which was the change over point. Simple but effective. On Saturday though we both stayed up, and on Sunday realised why this wasn't a good idea.

In other news, yes we do have a new camera. I am partial to the pentax range, having always owned them for digital cameras. And the new camera does make the right noises. Which was part (ok most) of the motivation ...

Random musing here: there is a wikipedia article on Square milk jugs. And the problems that people have with them. I think this goes into the "internet created nonsense" rather than actually useful ....
